Thrown one by one on the wheel by a Tokoname artisan using iron-rich shudei clay. It develops a deeper lustre the more you use it.
The fine ceramic mesh strainer rarely clogs, even with deep-steamed sencha.
As each piece is handmade, colour and shape may differ slightly from the photo.
Care
- Rinse with hot water after use and let it dry completely before storing.
- We do not recommend detergent, as it can leave a scent.
- Not suitable for microwaves or dishwashers.
