A blend centred on second-flush Kakegawa deep-steamed tea — an easy-drinking cup for the whole family, every day.
It also cold-brews well; in summer, try steeping it slowly in the fridge.
How to brew (for two)
- Put 6 g of leaves (two heaped teaspoons) into a kyusu teapot.
- Pour freshly boiled water into a cooling bowl and let it cool to about 70–80°C.
- Add 140 ml of water and steep for about 60 seconds.
- Pour alternately into two cups, a little at a time, until the very last drop.
For a second infusion, use hotter water and pour straight away to enjoy how the aroma changes.
